{"id":4955,"date":"2021-05-19T07:01:28","date_gmt":"2021-05-19T06:01:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cdsolution.ca\/iphone-12-most-common-problems-with-the-device\/"},"modified":"2024-08-13T14:16:00","modified_gmt":"2024-08-13T13:16:00","slug":"iphone-12-most-common-problems-with-the-device","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cdsolution.ca\/en\/iphone-12-most-common-problems-with-the-device\/","title":{"rendered":"iPhone 12: most common problems with the device"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The <\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">iPhone 12<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> is a fairly new device and the majority of its users have not experienced any issues with their phone so far. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">However, this is not the case for everyone, as some people have reported having problems with their iPhone 12, especially with <\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">5G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> .<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">So here are the most common problems with the iPhone 12 and how to try to fix them.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">My iPhone 12 won&#8217;t connect to Wi-Fi<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">If your phone won&#8217;t connect to Wi-Fi, or if you notice that the connection speed is slower, here&#8217;s what you can do :<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Unplug your router for a minute and plug it back in.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">If the problem isn&#8217;t with the router, go to your iPhone&#8217;s settings. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Go to the &#8220;Wi-Fi&#8221; section and select your connection. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Tap &#8220;Forget this network&#8221; and log in again by manually entering the password.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">You can also reset your phone&#8217;s connection settings if what has been mentioned above does not work. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">To do this, go to general settings and reset your connection settings.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">My iPhone 12 does not connect to Bluetooth<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">If you are unable to connect your device to a Bluetooth device, the first thing to do is to forget the connection. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">To do this, go to the settings, then to &#8220;Bluetooth&#8221;. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Choose the device and press &#8220;Forget this device&#8221;. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Then log back in.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">If that doesn&#8217;t work, you can reset your phone&#8217;s connection settings as we mentioned in the third point of the previous section. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Be careful, however, because this action will also erase the saved passwords of your Wi-Fi connections.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">To fix the problem, you can also try resetting your device to factory defaults by going to general settings and then tapping &#8220;Reset factory defaults&#8221;.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">5G does not appear on my iPhone 12<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The reason why your device does not connect to the 5G network is because <\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">your current plan does not allow it<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> . <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Check with your provider to resolve the problem and change your plan.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">My iPhone 12 is no longer charging<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">If you&#8217;re having trouble with your phone wirelessly charging, try restarting your iPhone 12 first. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">To do this, press and release the button to increase the volume, press and release the button to decrease the volume, and then press and hold the start button until your device turns off. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Turn your device back on to see if the problem persists.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In addition, remove your protective case and any cards it contains, if any, before charging your phone. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">This could be the cause of the problem.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">If you have any of the problems mentioned in this text or any other problem with your iPhone 12, please do not hesitate to <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/cdsolution.ca\/en\/how-does-it-works\/\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Contact us<\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> . <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Our experts will be able to repair your phone quickly.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The iPhone 12 is a fairly new device and the majority of its users have not experienced any issues with their phone so far.
